Virtual Conferences

In this episode of WiFi Coffee Hour, Rowell and François go on a live stream to discuss the shift from in-person to virtual conferences.

There’s no doubt the virtual conference will not live up to an in-person event. Some of you may have been planning to attend a conference for the first time only to find out it’s now online.

On the flip side, these events are free (for now). There’s going to be a learning curve for some of these events. Some presentations won’t be live. There will be prerecorded videos.

We won’t get the interaction of seeing people on that yearly basis. That’s the biggest downside, in my opinion. But we have to make the best of it during this pandemic. We continue to learn and we continue to have those same conversations but on the social platform.
